So far we have talked a lot about how not to loose your website visitor. There are many who think that the more bells and whistles that a webpage has the better it is. Wrong.

If you build a simple and logical information flow, if you accent and amplify the message with just the right amount of art and then throw lots of other stuff on the page to "fill it out" your webpage will fail. It will fail because visitors are in a hurry. They need to find what they are looking for immediately.

Lots of stuff that does not speak to your central message is just plan wrong. A great painter's advice to his students was to stop painting when the next stroke did not add to the meaning of the work. That is discipline. It must be observed when building your website.

Every page should be just complex enough to deliver the message as powerfully as possible...and no more.

It's good to have a website with lots of content (smile).

I recently formalized an agreement with XXX in Denver to do some naming (a $10k project) that came entirely from my Web presence. The website we created continues to yield new prospects and projects. Thanks!
