The "You and I Design Tribe" is Tim, Felicia and Alysia. We started our business after traveling to Australia and finding Bico jewelry that was unique that we hadn't seen in the U.S.

Felicia was the first to get to Australia on an extended travel work assignment. The original 3-6 week plan quickly seemed like it might be longer so she asked her company to let her daughter, Alysia, accompany her for 3 months. Although Alysia complained about having to attend school while there, they arrived to summer weather in Australia rather than winter in Colorado. It was late November. She was based in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory)-the Washington, DC of Australia.

Since Felicia and Alysia were stuck down under for the holidays (waa, waa), Will (Felicia's husband) and Tim (Will's son), joined them. We all met in Sydney on December 22 and then flew to Cairns for the holiday week. Cairns is a lovely place along the coast of the Great Barrier Reef. The Reef is a "must-see" if you get to Australia. Anyone can snorkel (even Felicia, who swims like a rock-the life jacket helped) and diving is even better if you have any swimming ability at all. Tim was uncertain about getting into the ocean, which he had never done. It took less than 3 minutes of looking at the Reef from an observatory for him to get the snorkeling equipment and jump in the water with the rest of us.
