Boulder is historically famous as a trading post of the old West. Adding to that long tradition Crystal Galleries provides collectors a source to the world's finest minerals, fossils and art glass. The Gallery's proprietors, Lorraine and Laurens Tartasky, collect unique specimens from every quarry and antique source available. Under their knowledgeable management the gallery has grown into a leading force in the world of collecting.

The Gallery's philosophy has been "Keep it simple." The website needed to project both this view and the high quality of the collection. The solution to this requirements set is a navigation system that is simplicity personified. Every page of the site may be accessed from any other page within two clicks of the mouse. This was accomplished even though the site may grow to display the entire collection of the Gallery since the directors may add new pages through their Management Feature.
