Self-Repairing Pages (Self Diagnostics)

CompoundDoc has the ability to diagnose itself and tell if it can display correctly. If it finds a corrupted layout it will first try to draw itself with another of its layouts. Next it tries its Auto Fail-Over capability.

Auto Fail-Over

If CompoundDoc can't draw itself with any of its layouts then it will try to display each of its items of content that are ok. This way most of the page will draw. Failing that it will revert to a prior version of itself.

Auto Fault Notification

When CompoundDoc detects a problem or error condition it sends an email to the site administrator and enters the error in its own log. Errors have always happened in websites; now it is easier to keep track of them and correct them quickly.
